These terms and conditions represent typical Terms and Conditions for our renewing memberships. Membership-specific and the most up to date version of this language can be found by visiting your personal portal account and viewing the Memberships section under your profile.
Terms & Conditions
This membership is a DUES paying membership. It begins TODAY and continues through at least the end of the next month following that date, meaning that cancellation or freezing is not possible until at least one full month of billing occurs. It then continues indefinitely until cancelled or changed.
On the Start Date, you will be billed for your Membership at a prorated amount for the remainder of the current calendar month.
On the 1st of each month (“Billing Date”), full monthly dues as listed on the "Purchase a Membership" page of ASCEND's online portal will be paid to ASCEND by electronic funds transfer (EFT) and under no circumstances is any portion of the monthly membership dues refundable. In the event of a declined EFT payment, a Decline Fee of $5 will be charged.
AUTHORIZATION FOR ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER (EFT): I hereby authorize ASCEND to initiate debit entries to the Credit Card, Debit Card, Checking or Savings Account named during checkout, and/or adjustments for any debit entries made in error. I hereby authorize the issuer of my Credit Card or Debit Card, or the financial institution holding my Checking or Savings Account to credit and/or debit the same to such account. This authorization is to remain in full force and effect until ASCEND has received written notification from me of its termination.
To change or cancel this membership, I understand that I must fill out a new agreement or a cancellation form at least one day prior to the next Billing Date or my change or cancellation may not be reflected until after the next billing period.
ASCEND reserves the right to increase dues at its discretion with 60 days written notice. Written notice will be sent electronically to the email address provided to ASCEND during the account set-up process.
Periodic proof of eligibility for a discounted membership and other discounts will be required, and requested via email only. Failure to provide proof of discount eligibility will result in non-discount dues and rates being assessed. This is not considered an increase in dues and does not require 60 days written notice, although reasonable notice will be given.
I agree to the posted Rules & Etiquette of ASCEND, and that if my access or membership is revoked, suspended or terminated I understand that I am not entitled to a refund for dues already paid.
I have been advised of and fully understand the Membership Details, Terms and Dues outlined above and agree to such Membership Details, Terms and Dues.
