What Is ASCEND?

We are a locally owned operator of climbing, fitness, and yoga facilities in Pittsburgh and Erie. We've been around in Pittsburgh since 2017 and in Erie since 2023.

What Is Service Industry?

To us, and for the purposes of this program, Service Industry may be defined as organizations where the general public may visit for products or services, such as restaurants, hotels, retailers, amusement and entertainment establishments. Basically, if you offer direct in-person customer service to the masses.

Why Partner With ASCEND?

We provide a healthy and cool outlet for people in our local communities. Climbing is an excellent way to get a workout, challenge your body and mind, while also having fun with your friends. We believe that everyone, especially service industry workers, could benefit from having ASCEND a part of their routine.

How Can We Partner With ASCEND?

ASCEND would like to offer your employees 30% off of an ASCEND Membership. If you'd like to offer our staff a reciprocal discount or offer of any type, we'd happily let them know, but that is not a requirement. Our primary goal is to get your team into climbing, but we'd certainly also love to send our team your way.

One More Thing...

One of ASCEND's owners, Paul Guarino, was a bartender, server, and restaurant manager for 10 years prior to opening ASCEND. He knows firsthand how important it is to find balance while working in the service industry. It can sometimes be stressful, isolating, and unforgiving. Having climbing a part of his life during that time was a literal lifesaver.
