Take your climbing to the next level with focused physical and mental training!
This 5 week training camp will take place on Thursday evenings at ASCEND Erie, beginning Feb 13.
An experienced ASCEND coach will lead the class in:
exploring a climber's mental and physical capabilities
addressing any blocks that may be impeding progress
creating a sound endurance-based training program based on individual abilities
emphasizing supporting one another in working towards goals through the camaraderie that is prevalent in climbing
This course is designed for intermediate climbers with a some solid climbing experience. It is recommended that participants be able to climb V2 boulders and 5.7 roped routes comfortably. Participants should also be currently capable of climbing for over an hour. Auto-belay certification is required and top rope certification is recommended but not mandatory. Training will utilize bouldering and roped terrain as well as fitness equipment.
